Multi Level Marketing?
jlogesw asked:
Recently a friend of mind had asked me to join a Multi Level Marketing business(www.dchl.org) under him. His point is t’s still very new in circulation and its very easy to get people to join under me. I know the strategy of a MLM business and how does it work but my question is wheteher it is trustable? What is the success rate of MLM business or the people who joined them? If its so easy to make money then why don’t everybody join it? When does it ends (everything that begins have an ending).? If I’ve reached certain level which promises a huge amount of payment every month through the network, will it be forever? Please help me…

I read that over 90% of everyone who goes into MLM drops out. I have done a few myself. The reason they fail is that the way the MLM company teaches you to grow the business doesn’t work and they all do the same thing: tell you to make a list of all your friends and family. The problem is, what do you do after you have alienated all of them? You get frustrated and drop out. A friend introduced me to a company who works with MLM individuals to help them grow their business using all forms of media. They even offer a money back guarantee. You might check them out, I did.
Their website is
Good luck with your business!
You have asked some very interesting and might I say, excellent questions. DCHL.org appears to have been established in Taipei Taiwan. Looks like the website was created in 2003. I went to the site, but can’t really figure out what it is they do exactly. I found this information by going to whois.net.
I found more information on DCHL by typing in DCHL [scam]. I don’t want to blow your friend out of the water or influence anyone either way, but am not sure your friend did his homework before signing up.
Now to answer some of your other questions. Network marketing, sometimes referred to as MLM, is indeed a very viable business. More and more companies are choosing to go this route rather than continue to pay high adverstising dollars on their own.
What is the success rate of those who join? Statistics show that 95-97% fail at network marketing, but that is not the fault of the industry itself. It is the fault of a combination of different things, inadequate or no training, poor comp plans, poorly managed companies, etc. Another reason so many people fail, that also goes back to training, people are taught to ’sell, recruit, close.’ That is NOT what network marketing is about and that is not what will make people successful. When you consider that 90% of people **** being ’sold’ to, can you see why it doesn’t work?
Network marketing is about people and creating relationships of a know, like and trust.
Easy? I would not say it is necessarily easy money, it takes work just like any other job, you just work for yourself and your success will mainly hinge at first on the amount of effort you are willing to put in. I would also say it is not easy to get people to join under you either when you first start. It’s like any other business. You can’t expect to open shop and have thousands, even a couple of hundred people flocking to your door the minute you start. It takes time to develop a good customer base. Many people do join because they are told how easy it is instead of the truth, but then they fail due to lack of support and the other things I have mentioned already.
Don’t be misled by the promise of a huge amount of money every month. If you didn;t have a bad feeling about this venture, you would not have asked the question here on answers. You are a smart cookie. You asked if you reach a certain level, will the money be forever? In some companies yes, in some companies no. It depends on the compensation plan and policies and procedures. Some P&P’s require that you continue to work your business forever in order to receive continued payments. Most people don’t read the P&P’s.
Would I get involved in network marketing knowing all of this? Yes, and I am in a MLM now, but it is not that simple either… you have to know what to look for. I wrote a blog about advice on working from home. You can find a link in the 2nd paragraph of my profile here on answers. Feel free to read it if you like, it’s all generic information and may help shed some light on other questions you might have but didn’t ask.
Can you become very successful in an MLM? Yes. Just get educated first.
Hope this helps.

Not everyone will become successful, as is in life, it is extremely possible but you have to be willing to work hard and the key is just not giving up. Everybody doesn’t join because there are always people who are skepticle and untrusting and afraid to take a chance. You should also know that even though the success rate for MLM is not very high usually that in the real world, 3% of the population controls 97% of the wealth. This being said it works just like anything else.
